Hey Melly,
I am so happy you are feeling so much better . I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will as lucky .

I know what you mean about the horrible hip pain....and it feels like it's deep in my hip bones. Grrr!!! LOL .

I saw you live in Georgia - we are headed there Friday for vacation - you guys better have good weather !! LOL.
Michigan weather stinks right now.

Thank you for your help .
Love & Hugs,
Michelle

Hip Pain

I thought I was crazy until I read this thread! I could not figure out why my hip, knee, thigh hurt so much. The pain felt so deep inside my hip joint I didn't know what it was. Always worse when I'm ovulating too. My date is August 12, losing uterus and right ovary. I will be looking hopefully forward to a future without hip pain and percocet. Thank you so much for bringing this up--it never occurred to me that it was related!

Hip Pain

I want to tell you that I burst into tears after reading this thread. I am suffering even as we speak and have been for two years. I was told it was probably bursitis, "Bro. Arthur", etc. And yes the pain is deep in my right hip. Sometimes I want to just rip my hip off. I hope my TAH on Sept 1 gives me the relief I need. And no regular OTC meds do not work. I have been on Lortabs 7.5 for 2 1/2 years and they do not even touch the deep hip pain. My body is just tired of being in pain. My dh has been wonderful but even he sometimes look at me in awe and wonder how I can remain in pain for so long and still be wife, mother, worker, etc...

HIP PAIN

I have been experiencing hip pain and pain in the pelvic bone that feels like my insides are pressing and trying to fall out. No one mentioned this to me. I agree that part is the worst part of it. I also have alot of pain on my left side, low down, I assume to be from the Uteran Cysts.

shot in the hip

Before surgery my DH told me I looked like I had been shot in the hip!

I felt like I had been shot or stabbed too-stabbing horrible pain like being knifed in the hip and sometimes down the front of my thigh.

It's all gone-NO hip pain at all. We thought I only had fibroids and a prolapsed and enlarged uterus, but the lab came back showing a degenerating cyst on my right ovary! Ah-ha! you never know until they get in there and see.

Until I read this post, I had forgotten how bad it was for several months before surgery.

Hip Pain

I am so relieved to read this thread - I, too, thought that Arthur was setting into my hips but didn't make sense to me that it was during Aunt Flo's visit.

Hips and tail bone hurt during her visit. Sometimes I look like an old lady when I get up and walk.

Can't wait for this to be gone...

Cheers,

connie
