4 weeks yesterday- help??
Hello fellow sisters,
I am 4 weeks out (LSH) and having some trouble. I have a great deal of pain right above the pelvic bone, extreme pain while having bm's and have started bleeding. MD sent me for a catscan on Thursday (3 days ago) but no results yet. I also have bladder pain. Not experiencing any loss of control, but pain. The blood has gotten heavier and thicker to the point of wearing a pad now. Some red, but mostly darker in color. ZERO energy, and honestly feeling more and more depressed. He has made a mention a couple of times of possibly removing cervix. Also, has thrown me on 3 antibiotics with no proof of infection? Anyone else have this type of problem? Please give any advise. I am so thankful I found you!!

Hi,I am sorry that you are feeling bad. I don't have any advice for you, other than stay in contact with your dr. If the pain and bleeding gets worse go to the ER. I am sending your way.Carol

Thanks for the Hug Carol
Thanks Carol! I wasn't sure if anyone else had experienced the trouble I am having. I won't let up on the DR until we figure out what is going on. The hug helped

I am so sorry that you are having problems. I had very little if any bleeding. I did have some bladder discomfort/pressure for a little while after my surgery that I spoke to my dr. about and it appeared to be normal. Please stay on your dr. and take care. Hopefully you will get your results soon.

4 weeks yesterday- help??
I had my LSH three weeks ago and kept my cervix. The only bleeding I had was while I was still in the hospital. As for the bladder pain, I'm still experiencing a bit of that when I urinate, and bowel pain with gas or BMs. My surgeon said that both were normal and would eventually go away, the bladder pain was most likely from the catheter and the bowel pain from them poking around and moving things during the surgery. Unfortunatly I don't have any advice about the bleeding, although it does sound odd. If you're not satisfied with what your doctor is saying, is there someone else in the practice you can see, or perhaps go to a completely different doctor (I'm assuming your gyn did the surgery). HUGS and prayers coming your way.

4 weeks on the 10th
Hello fellow sister,
I had my ovaries removed on the 10th, had uterus and cervix removed 11 years ago. I am experiencing the same uncomfortable feeling in my lower abdomen, kinda pressure and fullness feeling. Lots of gas pain and uncomfortable when I have a bowel movement. Went to MD on weds and he said I have a bladder infection, been on antibiotics for 3 days now and no change. I will contact my gyn on monday if pressure does not get better. Good luck to you.

4 weeks yesterday- help??
My MD said he is treating me for a bladder infection and any other infection that could be lurking. I had blood in my urine, but no bacteria or protein. He has me on 2 antibiotics currently. Hoenstly, I think he is at a loss. He said the blood could be sitting in my stomach from the surgery and it has found a way out via the vagina. Prior to my surgery, he said I could have some light discoloration a day or 2 following the procedure, but I didn't start this until 3 weeks out. I can't work because I can't sit for long periods of time and the computer is 99% of what I do to earn a living. I am desperate for answers and a fix. The thought of going through more surgery (to remove my cervix) is really too much. I have had 12 surgeries as it is in my 34 years. So, I am now on antibiotic 2 and 3 and no change here either. Sorry for venting a bit, it is just so frustrating. It was supposed to be a "simple procedure". I want my life and energy back I hope you start to feel better soon. Thanks for your response
