Thanks Karen! SHE is a good gyn and a GREAT surgeon but sometimes her tact is a lil off. But she is no B.S. and I like that. No beating around the bush, pardon the pun. I am glad you say it feels like an episiotomy. Both of mine were A to Z and they weren't all that bad. I'm not sure when I'll have it done. I'm sure she was hoping for the end of this month but with Halloween and my sister's wedding on November 9th (I'm am desperately trying to get to Raleigh for it!) It'll probably be mid November. Hubby will be back then from being away getting his Florida standards for being a cop locally here. Being a Federal Agent isn't enough for lil ol' Florida! So he'll be working with my brother in law after that until one county or another picks him up and that will be a good time. He will definitely be home every night to help with the kids.
Thanks again, I am much relieved!!!

Hi Debbie,

I'm glad I was able to reassure you. I don't blame you for wanting to put it off until after your sister's wedding, and for when your DH will be back home to help with the kids.

Best of luck to him in getting his certification from Florida. Be sure to pop into the Florida neighborhood forum and say hi when you have a chance. https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/for...?s=&forumid=59

Well Karen,
I have a date set, November 20th. It is the first surgery day after hubby comes back. Looks like the weeding isn't going to work out for me. I can't afford a ticket and I am too sick to drive that far. With as many migraines I get and the amount of narcotics I take, it can't be good. And I have some problem with my joints, even sitting in a chair for more than an hour or so hurts and no one is available to help me drive. It's ok. With much help from my shrink I am learning to accept the things I cannot do... which is A LOT!!
I saw my gyn today and she told me that she wouldn't be able to control my pain. I am on a Duragesic patch and percocet 10/325 for migraines. I thought that we would be able to up the percocet dose and be ok. But she is worried about constipation and narcotics making it worse and ripping out the surgery <sigh>. So today I am a little sad and worried. My Gp is amazed that I still have the joint pain with the amount of pain meds I am on. So I am pretty sure I am in for a rough trip. But this too, I'll overcome.
