First post-op appointment
And all is well. The doc removed the steri-strips and when I finally got up the courage to look at my incision yesterday I could barely see it (he tucked it neatly into a fold of my rather fluffy belly). He was vehement about no vacuuming, cleaning-- or even cooking if I could have help (I do, fortunately), and I'm not yet allowed to take my dogs out on the leash. They pull too hard. I can walk, climb stairs and bend slowly and carefully, and that's about it. He said I could drive whenever I feel ready so hopefully that will be this week sometime.
But I'm healing just fine. Since I've experienced the remarkable surge in libido that I first read about on HysterSisters (felt the first twinges through the post-surgical haze on day one, much to my amazement), I asked him what he had re-wired or plugged in down there, as this is about the strongest it's ever been! He laughed and said he didn't know, but if he could bottle it he'd be a millionaire.
How are the rest of you 3/3 sisters doing? I've had you in my thoughts and prayers since before our surgeries!
