Hey ladies.....
I've spoken to a couple of girls on here that are in this age group....but still wondering if there are any more women out their in the 26-33 age group...or in and around there.
I'm 27, going in for a TAH/BSO....and I'm wondering if there are any others in my age group who are also going in for this????

Anyone in their late 20's, Early 30's???????
I am 33, dx with endo after the birth of my son, severe adhesions after my daughter and premature menopause at 32 and scheduled for a TAH/BSO Sept 7. It is scary to be going thru this so young. Sometimes I feel like an old woman, my skin is aweful, I am tired all the time. I have to constantly remind myself I am still young and attractive. It can get depressing at times but I have wonderful support folks and they keep me laughing and happy.

Yea! There are more of us! I feel so alone in this whole thing so far. I am having a TAH with last ovary removed in two weeks because of suspected adeno and complex cysts that keep popping up. I'm more afraid of the HRT and hormone problems then the actual surgery and recovery!
How are you doing with everything so far? <Please keep support on the boards as per the site TOS. Thanks!>

Anyone in their late 20's, Early 30's???????
I am 33 I had a TAH with removal of the (L) ovary . I had sever problems since I started my period and moreso in the last 6 or so years. I had a hx of endo , cycsts and what was seen as a fibroid , but during the path exam found that the uterus was thicker than normal with an extaordinary amount of blood vesles as well as the (L) ovary being attached to my intestines ...
You will be surprised at the amount of younger women going threw this ...

I was 30 when I had my LSH/BSO in February. I didn't really have a choice because my pain was unbearable. You are not alone! There are so many women on this forum in our age group! Good Luck! Elizabeth

Hi, I am 27 and having TAH in 2 weeks for adhesions and ruptured uterus causing loads of pain and heavy bleeding.
My Mum also had this done at the same age for cervical cancer. There are so many young women out there going through this, this site is a great comfort, to know we are not alone.

I am 30 and in Nov. at TAH
I totally understand, your situation. My fears are just about everything. My ovaries are full of cysts and I have had two that have burst..that is no fun. Sex is painful at times. I have no cervix due to cervial cancer in 2000. I also have stage IV endo. So the best result in the end would be for me to have a TAH and that is what dr. has recommended and I have also been to a specialist in Gainesville and he recommended the same.

Hello. I am 30 and scheduled for a radical hysterectomy on Sept. 11th. I am nervous and scared. I am looking forward to getting rid of my problems, yet sad I will be losing some organs. You are not alone. Good luck to you.
