Incision... is this normal? (2.5 weeks after hysterectomy)

So I am 2.5 weeks out from a TAH (kept 1 ovary only).

My incision hurt and then it didn't feel like much, maybe some numbness around it occasionally or soreness at the end of the day.

However, yesterday afternoon into this morning, it's been burning pretty bad. It looks fine. But I am back to wearing nightgowns and no underwear after a few weeks of being able to wear PJs/ yoga pants/ granny panties over the area.

I have a couple of theories as to why this could be going on:
1) My steristrips just came off yesterday AM. My doc told me after 10 days I could start to gently scrub at them in the shower. I did, and finally most fell off yesterday. I have a little bit of a belly hanging over my incision and maybe the steristrips were holding things differently

2) I went a little overboard yesterday. I bent over and put some of my daughter's clothes away in low drawers and pulled some things out of a box. Doesn't sound horrific, but as we all know it's the simple stuff that gets you

3) Just new nerve healing pain in that area? I definitely have been feeling the "pings" or shock like feelings in the incision area in the days preceding. I have heard weeks 2-3 can bring some new pains as stitches start falling apart.

It's not bad enough for me to call the doctor. It definitely feels nerve in nature, like a burning. It has none of the symptoms he said to call him about if I notice and I am seeing him within the week. Although if it continues, maybe I will call.

Just curious... did anyone's incision "rest" for awhile and then start hurting again? New burning sensations and the like?

Thanks!
