Well a standard cycle is every 27 days (or close to that) so if you keep your ovaries, and you aren't menopausal, your ovaries will produce an egg.
You may have the standard PMS type symptoms of breast tenderness and mood swings (if you had those before). Many women say the symptoms decrease over time.

The ovary will release the egg it will travel down the fallpian tube and be reabsorbed into your body. If you don't have a uterus or cervix there will be no bleeding because there isn't anything there for the build up in anticipation of fertilization.
If you keep your cervix, since it is actually part of the uterus, you could have a mini-period. That is why some surgeons do cauterization.

Thank you so much...this does explain things. I should be good then since they are removing the cervix too. I do get some mood swings and cramps but other than that...nothing I can't handle. Compared to what I have been dealing with...it should be so much easier!
