Swelly belly and fatigue

Hi ladies,
I am going back to Dr's on the 19th for TVUS and blood work. Dr. thinks I have fibroids. I have gained at least 10 pounds in the past month! I am having to wear dbf's sweat pants and pyjama bottoms.
Anyone having a problem with being tired? I am sooooo sleepy all the time and I take a vitamin with iron. Any suggestions?
Thanks for letting me whine and complain.
Sherri

Hi Sherri

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so tired. Fibroids can do that, especially if you are having heavy periods and could be anemic.

The transvaginal ultrasound is a good test to determine if you do have fibroids. After you learn the results, you'll probably be told what treatment options you have.

You mention gaining 10 pounds in the last month. Is your gyn concerned about this? Does your gyn think this has anything to do with your potential reproductive problems (i.e. fibroids)?

Keep us posted on what you find out. We'll be here to support you, whatever you decide.

Beth
