Sunshine

I am almost 3 weeks post op and started to feel depressed & teary. I feel useless not being able to do anything and wonder what is my purpose. The surgury is a life changing experience. Knowing that I am not alone in feeling "blah" and that it is ok to feel this way has helped. I am looking forward to summer when I will be feeling a little better and be able to spend some time in the sun.

Feeling Blah!

I am happy to know that I am not alone but sad that so many of us feel the same. blahblahblah!!!!!!! My DH drives truck and he calls and says what are you doing, I say same old ****, NOTHING. If I tell him I am doing laundry or anything he says"Your supposed to be taking it easy!!" Feel like my life is passing me by and some days don't even care to do anything about it. My DS came home today and said let's go outside, he fixed my porch swing for me so I can sit there, such a sweet kid. Ido feel blessed and know that this too shall pass.

Feeling Blah!

I felt like that for the first 4 weeks...very emotional and would fly into a rage over silly things. I went back to work and started walking every day which has helped the emotional side. I still feel like I get easily irritated and angry too often.....my family would agree with me on that one!!! I still have my ovaries so what gives!?!?!

Feeling Blah!

Thanks all for your wishes. I have been having a real down day today. The antibotics are for my sinus as well as my wound is inflammed. These are making me feel sick & I think the outing did not help. DH drove me to Drs. & girlfriend drove(flew) me home. I thought I was doing OK but Dr. said to rest more. How much can 1 person rest. I have not been anywhere, driven or anything I feel like such a whuse. I am trying to do a bit of paper work & some hand sewing...making a cot quilt for 1st grandchild due in May and reading, TV, computer. I slosh around the house & when it gets cooler at night walk a bit on the porch. I am gradually increasing the time,,,,very very slowly. Feel like I will be like this forever. Thanks for listening to me vent. Hope everyone else is faring better.

Feeling Blah!

Have just replied to post & it made me realise I was hoping GP would let me do more. Feel like I'm going backwards. Also girlfriend (who flew me home) in the car keeps saying things should be moving quicker. BeforeXmas 04 broke my left foot, had DD in hospital very sick 3 times last year. Her last trip to hospital I got a hospital bug infection in my Right leg.I have been restricted to home or hospital for so long. I like to be out & about & active.DD is 26 weeks pregant now & things I want to do are starting to seem impossible.Maybe this is a turning point....lets hope
