Help..hormones whacked out!

Okay, don't know where to start, yet went everywhere bcuz I haven't found anyone with this issue here..I am 12 days post op and having hot flashes like normal..what is not so normal I think is that I am so sexually frustrated and ready to have sex. Will an orgasm rip a stitch from stimulation? I need release..or so it feels..not sure what to do or who to turn to..HELP! Why do I not feel normal after listening to all the stories to women not having any sexual desire? Mine is out of control right now. Please help....

I felt the same way you do. I am now almost 10 weeks post op but yes when I was in my first 3 weeks of recovery I to felt sexually frustrated. I had a LSH and kept both ovaries. I ended up having sex at week 3 cause I couldnt take it any long even though I was suppose to wait until week 4. Nothing bad happened and boy did I feel better. I am not in any way tell you to have sex at week 3 cause I am not a medical professional, I am just sharing my experience with you. Talk to your doc and ask when you can have sex either inner or outcourse.
And you are completely normal for feeling the way you do.

oh thank you..there are ppl out there like me..whew..i will call him today..just not something i am totally comfortable asking u know..he wants me to wait till week 6..crazy..had TAH and bladder sling..guess i need to woman up and call..ugh..it will be worth it in the end..thanks so much..i feel much better now

Glad I could help, and dont feel uncomfortable about asking, ask him if you can still be intimate without having sex, that might be easier to ask then being specific. Take care

I too had a TAH on 11/04/09 and felt like you... We decided to have sex at week 2 and followed the Drs rule of NOTHING in the vagina for 6 weeks. Check with your Dr.
