TAH 1 month post hysterectomy: Heels and Spanks

Hi Sisters! Now I am overly protective of my body after this experience and still recovering. I'm terrified of wearing heels. Also, is it okay to wear spanks or a girdle ?

I tried spanks a few days ago and it was way too tight for me. My incisions hurt after about 10 minutes.

But you're a few days ahead of me so that may make a big difference.

Thanks. I'll let you ladies know how it goes. I did order the abdominal binder but still have received it!😑

I'm so glad to see someone ask this question. I like the feeling of being really snug and have been wearing the binder but was thinking about going to a pair of Spanx. I'll wait a little longer now, don't want to irritate my incision.

For me, heels are okay, but Spanx: no way. I put a pair on and kept them on for about 37 seconds, way too uncomfortable. I'd rather wear loose dresses.
