I have a davinci hyster scheduled for October 4th and I just cough my daughters cold that she has had for a month. Dose anyone have any ideas how to get better fast?

Load up on vitamin c... i take the 500mg chew tabs... take like 3000mg daily, it wont hurt you and what your body doesnt use you will pee out. Also take something OTC like alka-seltzer gel caps or airborne... good luck with your surgery!!!

Talk to your doctor - they may be able to give you something.
Be careful of OTC meds and vitamins. They can be restricted as you approach your surgery. Get approval before taking anything.

I like Cold-eze and Zicam to get extra zinc. I'm just getting over a cold and those helped.
As mentioned check with Dr. on all items so you make sure they don't interfere with anything as you approach your surgery.

It's still two weeks away so talk to your doctor too.
