Im Back at last!

Hi. Had my op Tuesday 13th, left hospital Saturday and had stitches out&flew back to Lanzo today! Wow, I feel like a new woman already. Op went well, hardly any pain after. Large scar (20 external stitches) but very neat job. Haven't had my results of biopsy yet, but fairly confident. Cannot believe how easy everything went. To all the LIW - the waiting is by far the worst, I have been out shopping (dh doing all the carrying) I have been out for a meal and I am walking more and more each day - slowly, but it is great to get fresh air when you have been cooped up for so long. Im taking it easy but getting better fast.
All the very best to you. Pauline x

s Pauline:

I am so glad everything went well for you. Sounds like you are doing very well. I go for my 6 wks. check up tomorrow...and have to see about changing this HRT. Still having daily headaches and nausea. AND still tired if I do or walk too much.
Glad you're back. :

Insired? <gg>

Hi All,

I am due for my surgery on Friday morning - 9.30 GMT and am getting quite nervous now.

I too had my pre-op stuff yesterday and am covered in bruises where the nurse tried to get blood! The description of three drips, two drains and a catheter were not very reassuring either!!

But, it will happen. A friend has sent me a bumper sticker that says:
"Breathe a little each day - it helps!"

and I intend to!!
