Scheduled for surgery Sept 17, 2013

Hi
I am scheduled for pre op this coming Monday with the surgery scheduled for Tuesday. Of course I am terrified and anxious. I was hoping to visit your site seeking comfort. Will they perform the procedure if you are in your cycle?

My Doctor did. You should ask at your pre-op I think the majority of them do. The waiting is the hardest part. Everything will be fine.

Thank you for your reply,

Waiting is tuff. The mind plays havoc. I'm sure everything will be fine but I'm a nervous type with trust issues. I'm sure the pre op visit will answer my questions but I was seeking advice from those who had already gone through it.

My doctor did. He said it wasnt a problem. I hade a laparoscopic hysterectomy and it was the best decision I made.

My dr said being the vampires they are if I start its not a problem for them at all. I am expecting to cut it close just a day or two "Early," and I will end up bleeding.

Re: Scheduled for surgery Sept 17, 2013

Good to hear! I believe I will be laproscopic as well? I was hoping to keep the ovaries (for hormone reason?) but a friend said because there is cancer in the family most likely they will be removed. Another question for the pre-op. The doc had said that she won't know about the ovaries until she gets in there. At this point I guess I just have to wait and see.
