Post op infection

My surgery was August 5th and I feel like a new woman!
However, I have developed an infection in my incision that will not heal. My Doctor sent me for IV antibiotic after 5 weeks of oral. I have a small open area the size of an eraser that refuses to heal. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks.

I had a open wound on an internal incision about the same size as yours. Ouch! It just take patience and it will close in time. Does your Dr have you irrigating the wound? You should really seek his advice on how to get it to heal as quick as possible.
