TVH: Failed Her Option

Hello Ladies. I had an ablation (Her Option) in November to hopefully keep me from having a hysterectomy. The results were never what they were supposed to be from the beginning. I had one "period" for two weeks that was extremely light and then the next one about five weeks later was worse then the ones I had before the ablation. Who knows if I will have another before my hysterectomy. I have constant cramps and horrible back aches now too. Anyone else have same problems?

I had ablation 12/30/08, and started bleeding 6 days later. I bled for almost a month. The first two weeks were pretty heavy, then it would come and go. I'd think it had stopped, then suddenly would have a gush, then nothing for a few hours, then just spotting. When I had my ablation, I asked my Dr how long it would be before I knew if it worked or not, he told me a couple months, and he wouldnt mess around if it failed. My hyster was scheduled at a visit at the end of January. I didnt have a lot of cramping, except for right after my ablation. I was having the "twinge" type cramping quite a bit in the days before my hyster, so I think I was getting ready for another period.
