TAH Totally disturbed and frustrated! Need some words of encouragement!

TAH on 3/6. Incision opened due to too much fluid and infection. I have to go into doctor twice a week to get my incision cleaned and repacked with aquacel gauze. I have to change the dressing thats on top of it after I shower. I am not usually squeamish, but it makes me nauseous, dizzy, and leaves me crying to change the dressing because I have to touch the rope of gauze that is sticking out of the hole! I hate this. I hate this. Did anyone hear me say I hate this? I just want to be healed. It is coming up on the second week, and they cannot tell me how long it will take to heal. I want to scream at the top of my lungs.(aaaaaaaarg!) I dont want to go back and get poked, prodded, cleaned up and restuffed. This feels so inhumane and disgusting that they would have to leave me open to heal.
