I can hardly stand it!......going on 4 weeks. I've gone mad. Some days, I just stare at the ceiling!........or I sleep, sleep sleep!.

Although I do read, rent pay per view movies, and talk to the cats and the dog. Don't feel like doing much else.......or rather, I can't without getting exhausted!.

Hey girls,

Maybe ask friends to stop by on their lunch break to bring you lunch or better yet - pick you up for lunch. Try writing notes to people you've been meaning to. Look up interesting recipes. Take a walk - if you can. Plan your next vacation.

Good luck and I hope you can overcome this boredom soon.
Meg

Have you all tried the game Soduko? I am not a game kind of girl but that really helped me through my recovery. It is so good for your brain and even with "brain fuzz" I could manage the easy ones. Now I really miss the time I had to just sit back and do things like that-- so relax, and take the time you need to recover--it goes by faster than you think when you are looking back at it!!

Do you like to read? I love to read my romance books. I usually buy them used at garage sales and used book stores. I did buy myself some new ones right before my surgery. I also watch a lot of reality tv and spend a lot of hours on several different posting boards on line.

I need to spend less time on line and more time in my office filing or shredding old bills and paperwork.

Sonie, I know you may not want to be on the computer ALL of the time, but something that found eats hours upon hours is adventure games like Myst, Alone in the Dark, and anything by Sierra. Wild Tangent games has some cute entertaining games too. I was confined to bed more than once, and the longest was 11 months, so I know how you feel. It is important to exercise your brain while you are down. I'd stay away from first person shoot games, because that doesn't help the right part of your brain, but the strategy, and adventure type games really make you think. Good luck with the boredom.

Sonie, after what you have been through, I'm glad you're feeling well enough to be bored!
I've been reading a lot, and I got my scrapbooking stuff out, but haven't started it yet. I also dug out a counted cross stitch project I started last year and I want to get it done. I'm also going to address a my son's graduation announcements this weekend and have them ready when his pictures come in. Still need to plan his party, too. I'm also getting ready for our trip to Arizona April 8. Just trying to keep busy.

Heather, good luck on those taxes. We are paying big time this year. I won't even go there.
