Post-Op Bleeding

My doctor has recommended that I have a LAVH for hyperplasia, persistent bleeding, several polyps and recurring cervical dysplasia. I have a history of uncontrolled bleeding (hemorrage) post child birth and post cold cone biopsy due to lots of healthy blood vessels in that area. I have an appointment with Dr. tomorrow to discuss details of the surgery so I will discuss with her. But, until then - has anyone heard of post-LAVH hemorrage? I looked around this site, and no one has mentioned having problems. I wonder if once my uterus and cervix are gone it will not be an issue. I trust doctor and the hospital so this is the only concern I have. Any comments?

I had a LAVH with very minimal post-op bleeding. Like you, I've not seen anyone having major bleeding issues after their LAVH. The best person to talk with about that is your doctor. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow!
