High Heels

Sisters, I'm vain and I'm missing my high heels. How soon after surgery were you able to put them back on and not have any pain? I'm 3 weeks out yesterday and doing great, just missing my shoes.

My doctor didn't give me any restrictions on them, but I wasn't up to wearing any until around 4 weeks and then for only a short time to and from a restaurant.

I haven't worn any yet but plan too on Mother's day. 3 1/2 inches & I can't wait so I can stop feeling like an old lady!!

I had to laugh at this question. I finally actually wore tennies for the first time since surgery on Monday. (3 1/2 weeks) Otherwise I had/have only been wearing flip flops or slippers and flat sandals 3 times for church. I don't wear heals anymore anyway but I couldn't bend over well enough to put socks and tennies on or tie them....haha. So I stayed with the slip on flats.
