10 days post op

Hello ladies,
I am 10 days post op and I feel so horrible. My emotions are a high. My body gets no rest at night, my body feels like I'm just walking around with labor pains. I am asking why did I do this to myself? I see people so happy they made this choice I just want to know when I feel almost normal? When this pressure between my legs go away? Most of when can I use the bathroom like a normal person?

I'm so sorry you feel so horrible. Your still so very early in your recovery, so try to be patient. I am 4 months post op and this has been a slow process for me. My hormones/emotions seemed to level out at about 4 or 5 weeks post op. I kept my ovaries, but still felt like a crazy person for a long time.I also had insomnia for many weeks. Nothing I took seemed to work well. I took no naps and was lucky if I could get 2 hours a sleep each night. This added to my emotional instability I am sure. Everything will slowly get better as time goes by.I still don't feel 100% and have heard it takes a full 6 months to a year to be fully healed. Be good to yourself, rest when you can, follow your restrictions, and be patient. Don't hesitate to call your doctors office with questions about recovery and things your questioning as normal.
