Don't rush things, you are still early in recovery. I am 14 wks post op TVH, and I am still having issues with being tired, hot flashes etc, and I kept my ovaries. It can take awhile to feel back to normal. As far a sex, I was released after an internal check at 6 wks, but DH and I were so nervous about it that we waited and extra week. The first time we used lubricant, but since then everything has been working fine. Listen to your doctor, and you body. Best of luck to you.

Hi Fab45
I'm not surprised really to see you still having healing issues, look at all you had done. If you had just had the tvh it might have come along a little quicker although you never really know. I had some of what you had plus a bladder sling and it took me a long time to drive comfortably and to be able to function normally.
You are blessed to have a dr who is keeping close watch and taking good care of you. Give it time and you will heal. It's so good you aren't pushing yourself to hurry it up,it only slows it down in the long run. I hope you have a good report when you see the dr. Keep us posted.

Dont fret hon...time does heal all! My hyst was a few weeks before yours...I was posting like mad in my 6th week, I was still having discharge etc wondering if I was healing properly. Wala...by the 7th week....it all stopped...my energy level is pretty much back now too! Amazing what a single week can do! (Now 8 weeks post op) Good luck to ya!

Fab45!

It's terrible how tired we are, huh? That's the one thing my doctor stressed before my surgery......that I was going to feel tired for a long time. Everyday will get better. I didn't think so at first, but have since "turned" a corner and now can see the light. Hang in there, know that this normal, and we are here should you need anything. You deserve a great big !!!!
