Surgery Date: May 18th

Hello,
On top of having to have a TAH/BSO, scheduled for May 18th, I found out today I have the beginnings of a cataract in my right eye! Weird how things just seem to change after you turn 50!

I've done a lot of reading on-line, and don't have too many questions about the actual surgery at this time, but I do have a "hair question".....

I recently had a body wave (May 2nd).... I have an appointment day before my surgery to have my routine monthly hair color done.... my hair is okay at this point, but I was wondering with all I've read on this sight about hair being different after the anesthia.... would it be to my advantage to have a conditioner treatment of some sort done before surgery, then again afterwards??

Guess my mind is worrying about these insignificant details to avoid worrying about the surgery!

Thanks for any opinions!

Kathy

((( Kathy )))

I'm sorry about your cataract on top of everything else. It does seem that after I turned 50 I started having a few more problems.

I think that if you want too do it - go for the hair treatments. IMO, pre pampering of the princess is good! My hair did change a bit afterwards ( either from the surgery or being over 50 ). I do have to use a lot more conditioner now. Ask your hairdresser what's best.

Would you please add your surgery date to your profile so that you'll be on the best wishes list for that day?
