stitches and pain
Hello I am on the 4th week of healing and everything has been going good up until the last 4 days.. I have had allot of brusing feeling in the abdominal and the stitches where the scope and camera went into are showing .. and they are starting to hurt.. the sleeping part is horrible and the ache of healing is not helping.. is this normal?? I have no infections what soever I had my tubes my uterus and servix removed I know the "sling" is something that I have felt from the beggining but as for the other feelings its all strange to me .. I assume its all normal but the stich part is what was weird.. And to top it off today of all days its hit me.. the emotional part.. I have been doing great but I have been crying all day and its such a feeling of emptiness.. if anything could go wrong it would ( that is the feeling) but of course nothing was wrong.. so I know its just hit me and I hate the feeling.. can any one help me out what to do ??
Thank you
Georgiana

stitches and pain
Oh dear you are at the right stage in your recovery. The sleeping does get better I promise. The emotions you are feeling are normal too. Ok don't slap me. LOL I felt the stitches to and they took a long time to go away. It does get better tho. All people heal different. Some ladies stitches dislove faster than others.I went threw the ups and downs and now almost 7 months I can say that I am sleeping ok my emotions are still a roller coster but, glad I can wear white pants. You hang in there and if your feeling blue share with a post like you did now. It feels better I know when I vent/share. Good luck

stitches and pain
The first few weeks are like a roller coaster. One day you feel better and think you are on your way and the next day something hurts and aches and you feel worse. It does get better. Hang in there. You are not alone in all of this.
Week four was hard for me. That's when I started with the emotional ups and down more frequently. I could feel them coming on and nothing I did would stop them. I would end up crying. One time I bit my tounge on a cheeto and cried for a half hour. My BF was looking at me out of the corner of his eye like he was afraid to say or do anything. Probally a good move on his part...LOL
Week five I felt more downs than ups and decided to call my dr. I knew my ovaries were still probally sleeping. I started Premarin three days ago and today is the first day I have felt like myself since surgery. If you find you are more down than up, you may want to talk to your doctor and see if there is something you can take for some relief. I know that empty feeling you are talking about and it's not a good feeling at all.
Hugs to you!
