What can I do to have BM?

My surgery was on Wednesday, came home Saturday. I think on Friday or Saturday at the hospital I got a Fleets with very little results. I have been walking some and drinking about 1/2- 3/4 gal water daily (at least). I am also taking Colace daily. Today about lunch I took about 30-40 cc Milk of Mag. NOTHING! What else can I do. I dont drink coffee or prunes. I have been eating fruit though.

What can I do to have BM?

I haven't had surgery yet, but have been bothered by a lot of gas pains lately. I think it's due to the prolasp. I've been eating Multi-grain Cher-e-o's and that's seems to help somewhat.

What can I do to have BM?

I ate lots of fiber and drank lots of water. I also walk around some after meals so I can get the gas moving. That seemed to really help for me. My first bowl movement was painful though. Not trying to scare you but it hurts to push. Just be careful and take care.

What can I do to have BM?

I didn't drink prune juice prior to my surgery, but found it very helpful to get things moving. If I'd warm it a bit, I'd find it helped even more. I started drinking a small glass each day until things started moving more regularly on their own.

Take care!
