pain after 8 months

I'm curious if you may have a cyst (or cysts) on your ovaries. It is just a guess, but I had terrible pain on my left side only 2 months out, went to the gyn and I had 2 new cysts on my ovary. I was told that regardless of size, all cysts can cause pain, and I was in horrible pain due to the large cyst I had removed (with my right ovary) in November. My gyn did an internal ultrasound (just so you know - a piece cake in case you've never had one) and she was able to see the cysts. I just had another ultrasound 2 weeks ago at my 6 month check up, and thankfully one cyst is gone (resolved/reptured - don't know the term), and the other is very very small, not causing any pain. I know this is a wild guess, but many other sisters have had this happen with remaining ovaries, and I know for sure how painful cysts can be. I would insist that they see you! Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the surgery, but it would be nice to know for sure! So sorry you are feeling like this! I am just past 6 months, and am doing fine, great compared to 3 months ago, but still have days when I feel pretty lousy. Also, have you had your hormone levels checked? That can make a big difference too, and they will be able to tell if your ovaries are functioning properly. A quick blood test, and I got results in 2 days. I would call your gyn again.
