Having a difficult time with Pain from the surgical area
Having a difficult time with Pain from the surgical area. CT reveals nothing. I just read that previous adhesions can carry their own nerves and blood flow. Several longterm adhesions were removed with Endo & cysts. Full hysterecomy. Any advice? The pain is worse than before surgery!
I appreciate the replies- still trying to learn my way around this site.

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems and hope others will be along very soon to share.
In the meantime, it may help to try a site search for any similar exeperiences. It is still early in your recovery, however, and I hope you find things improve with time.
Sending all good wishes and positive thoughts!

Re: Having a difficult time with Pain from the surgical area
Hi,
I'm so sorry to read that you are in pain. I do agree with Pooodle. I think it's still early in the recovery. I was in more pain than before my surgery for the first 3 weeks. I felt better in week 4. Slowly each week would get better. What does your doc say? Are your meds helping at all with the pain?
Searching for posts from other women who have experienced what you are experience will help. You feel like your not alone and that there is hope.
You are in my prayers.

Re: Having a difficult time with Pain from the surgical area
Interesting that you posted this today, I just asked my date sisters a similar question. I have been having some pain in my TVT area and was wondering about adhesions. Also having some pains around my right ovary?? I also had some removed during my hyster and during my lap in Nov. I just wasn't sure what adhesion pain truly was as I only ever thought the pain I had been experiencing was from my cysts and enlarged uterus. I'm gonna do some searching on here too, but if you find something helpful, please let me know. I will do the same. Hugs!!

Re: Having a difficult time with Pain from the surgical area
Yeah I did the CT- found nothing. I was going to talk to my OB about phantom pain where adhesions have been removed. She brought it up before I did! She thinks it'll calm down in 3-4 months but the intensity is too great for me to sit idle. I will let you know if I learn anything! Also how the acupunture goes. Best Wishes!!
