Lots of Diarrhea since I had my hysterectomy - Could I have an obstruction?

The stool sample is a quick, inexpensive, easy (though icky) diagnostic tool. IF your MD doesn't recommend it, speak up & request it. IF the test comes back negative, then advocate for further testing such as abdominal sonogram and / or abdominal CT.

I finally broke down & took Immodium (over the counter medication) last night. Everything else was failing me - acidophiles, yogurt, BRAT diet, bland diet, full liquid diet - you name it! Will keep you posted once I see my MD on Thursday - I'll share whatever info I'm given.
