dVH/RALH diarhea (intestinal infection?) after davinci

had davinici surgery last Tuesday. They took everything due to a spot of cancer (early stage). I thought it was the shots I have to take to prevent blood clots, then thought it was my pain pills. I have had two real bad days..today being the worst. Diarhea, feeling so totally wiped out. I called the surgeon's office and the nurse said it is common to get an intestinal infection after a surgery like this. She prescribed metronidazole 4 times a day. I am also trying to get some yogurt in me. I feel so completely wiped out I feel like I will just fade away. The ride to the surgeon is 2 hours and I know I could not make it today and all she said was they would hydrate me. Heck I can drink at home.

Has anyone had trouble with the lovenox shots? Would any of this be caused by that?

HELP!!!!!

Pain pills tend to give you constipation.I sure wish I had some words of wisdom,but I do not. I can only hope that you get over this quickly.
