Painful bulge to left of incision: Did anyone else experience this?

Hi I had the da Vinci July 27 and they had to do a two inch cut above my belly button. Off to the left of the cut I have a bulge. Dr said don't worry not a hernia. I still have it and it hurts. I am going on three weeks tommorrow.

I did not have a bulge but I'd be frustrated at not having an explanation. Do you have another post op visit? Does your Dr have an idea what it is? Hematoma? Swelling? Reevaluate hernia? Sometimes a 2nd look is helpful. I hope you get an explanation soon.

Hi actually going today. I had two doctors look at it. They think it's inflamation but they say it may take months to know what it is. They say it's not a hernia. I am so frustrated I am at here weeks po supposed to go back to work next week I don't think I should. I have pulling and pain. Did you have bladder spasms while urinating. My urine shoes no infection when they sent it out. Very upset
