Lupron Injection Questions

I was on Lupron twice for endo. the first time I was given the shot in a 3 month dose and it made me very moody and mean, my husband said he was going to leave if I got the second shot (which would have taken me thru the 6 months of treatmeant that my dr. recommended) so when it was time for the second shot I refused it, and then I bled for 6 months straight.

The dr that is doing my da Vinci hyster next month recommended Lupron again when I first met with him because he was confident he could get rid of my pain so that I could make a decision about the Hyster while pain free (since i am only 30 he wanted to make sure I was making the best decision for me and not just becasue of the pain), I have to say I was really scared to try it again after the first time. However, the second time it was given as a monthly shot, which I had a nurse friend give to me. I had hot flashes and night sweats but I called the dr and he prescribed 1mg of estridol to help with the sysmptoms and i have to say that I haven't felt this good in 10 years, I am not looking forward to going off the shot which i can't aford to continue to take at $204 a shot.
