Bring on the Hot Flashes!!

Peppercat, I know how you feel after taking a shower. I have been taking cool ones, because I can not stand the hot flashes after the showers. I can not take HRT either, because of my liver issues too. Glad we can vent here.

I'm coming up on my 3rd hysterversary this month, and my hot flashes started about 3 months after surgery. I kept my ovaries and choose to not do HRT. The funny thing is that I've been extremely happy with this hot summer - NO FLASHES! Throughout the winter, I was miserable. Never getting a full night's sleep because of the flashes and night sweats. So, I figure that I can move to a hot-weather area and I won't have them again

The Estroven is finally kicking in for me too...i just had to be patient ...I was having them sooo bad, it was awful, but now they are few and far between and not as intense.......

I had hot flashes really bad the first 2 weeks post op and then they subsided. And now the past few days have been AWFUL. I have the AC on full blast and it's basically a cave in here. The 90 degree weather is not helping any either.
