6 months 2 weeks post hysterectomy - granulation

So for the last 3 weeks I've been dealing with spotting and cramping for two days after sex. Went to doctor yesterday, and she said I had a lot of granulation on my cuff, and treated me with silver nitrate. That was at noon yesterday. She said there might be some slight discomfort and cramping. My vaginal felt on fire the rest of the day yesterday and it is still very tender and burns when I pee this morning. Not sure if this is normal or not...

Re: 6 months 2 weeks post hysterectomy - granulation

Your doctor mentioned you had a lot of granulation so she may have done an extensive treatment on your cuff. Your tender tissues have experienced a trauma and need to recover from that. I had silver nitrate on my episiotomy as it was healing and it smarted. And I had yucky grey discharge too. What you're experiencing is likely normal. If you have pain, are bleeding a significant amount or feel something isn't right, call the doctor. TLC for you and feet up if you can. Hopefully tomorrow is better!

I have been dealing with granulation also first about 8 weeks post op. Had to be seen every week for 3 weeks to have it taken care of. All cleared then it came back a week and a half later. I go back on Wednesday. To be looked at again. Hurts so much. Hope you are feeling better.
