6 weeks post op Vaginal hysterectomy...possible nerve damage???:(

Hi my name is Brandy. I am a 26 year old mother of 3 boys. I had a hysterectomy on Oct. 14th 2010 due to severe bleeding and abnormal pap smear. I woke in recovery unable to move my legs and left arm. My surgeon and the other doctors I was evaluated by in the hospital have say they "have no idea what could have caused this, and it should get better in time". After 5 days in the ICU and physical therapy I was sent home with a walker and was able to walk alone 6 days after my surgery. The numbness continued in my left leg and foot and On October 29th I developed pain and muscle spasms in both legs. Since then my symptoms have worsened, here is a list of what I have experienced in the past 3 weeks:

-Weakness in Left Leg and foot(unable to flex foot up or down or wiggle toes)
-pain, burning, tingling in legs and arms
-dizziness/vertigo
-extreme fatigue
-urinary frequency and urgency
-blurred vision
-left upper eyelid twitching
-running into walls/lack of coordination(always left side)
-itching(crawling under skin)
-constipation
-heat sensitivity
-waves of intense pressure/pain left rib cage

I would love to hear some advice or maybe even someone who has experienced any of this before. I am seeing a new neurologist on Dec. 15th and I am hoping for more answers than "I don't know'. This surgery has changed my life in a big way, while I know things could be much worse...I still believe they could be better. I just need some answers and would love some support!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Brandy

i was going to suggest a neurologist, sounds like they need to do an mri of your brain and your area you had surgery, could be a nerve trapped somewhere, wow i am so sorry i can't imagine dealing with all of that, praying you gets some results and so sorry they are having you wait so long, that is ridiculous, keep a diary of your symptoms and anything that seems to make them worse
