Sadness

Hi All, its been just over 3 weeks since my TAH, I feel no pain havent had any pain meds since the first week, Im walking 30-45 mins daily have lots of energy, the only issue I have is sadness its not all the time but occasionally I just sit and cry or get really snappy and at time angry, I guess the hormones are adjusting still. Does anyone else have simular feelings and does anyone know of any remedies or herbs to help... any suggestions would be great.

Re: Sadness

It is completely normal to have some mood swings for awhile. It is usually your hormones adjusting. If the emotional doesn't seem to be getting better, you might give your a quick call to discuss the best option for you.

Sending you and hoping you are feeling better soon.

Re: Sadness

I was so sad and cried a lot the first couple of weeks. After my post-op the doc suggested that I increase my estrogen to two patches for a while. I take the Vivelle .1mg patch. It has helped me get my emotions a little more under control, but there are still many moments when I just start crying with no apparent trigger!!! I've also started a diary and began walking and getting out of the house more...which has helped!!

I hope you find some smiles soon!!! Lots of hugs!!! :-)
