I'm twelve days post-op

I've had very little spotting until few days ago. It started out pink and is now very bright red! I also started having what feels like menstrual cramps this evening! Is all this normal?

I have a few questions for you. Did you keep your ovaries and your cervix? If so, you could be experiencing a mini-period. If not, have you been more active lately? That can be your body's signal that you are doing too much. Either way, if you start bleeding to the point you are filling a pad in one hour, you need to go to the ER. If you aren't bleeding that much, let your doctor know what is going on. Please keep us posted!

Kept ovaries/cervix. It's frustrating because I had this surgery to stop the bleeding and I'm still bleeding ;(((

How are you doing today? And would this have been about the time you got your period if you were to get it?

It is unfortunate that you were not aware that you could get mini-periods if you kept both your ovaries and cervix. The ladies that happens to are in the minority but that doesn't mean much when you are the one it happens to. I was very aware of the possibility but I was also okay with it if it happened because I was so close to menopause.
