Many women report bladder discomfort after this surgery, which does seem to traumatize our poor bladders. It's very important to discuss this symptom with your doctor, as a UTI must be ruled out.
That said, there are number of things that can help, including drinking plenty of water and choosing bladder-friendly foods (avoiding caffeine, alcohol, citrus, vinegar, tomatoes, acidic foods, carbonated beverges…. all the fun stuff)!
