dVH/RALH 6 days hysterectomy recovery experience so far

So, I'm 6 days out from a daVinci Assisted Total Vaginal Hysterectomy, Unilateral Oopherectomy w/removal of both tubes, but kept left ovary (which doc said may or may not hold out, as it is very small), Transobturator tape for stress incontinence, sight anterior repair, and a ingrown hair turned lesion that has been scarred over for about 10 years.

Day 6 pressure 0 pain! Pooped, peed, walked around, helped the kid gather trash to take out (but didn't lift), and have migrated to the living room. I have pressure comparable to eating too much velveeta cheese dip two days again, and now I am literally full of poop, BUT it's only a feeling. I am not constipated, just used that for comparison purposes. So no pain, only pressure.

I slept very well last night, and my appetite seems to have returned to normal. I certainly feel like I have TURNED A CORNER. Yesterday was good, but to day is so much better. Tomorrow entails taking my son to the doc for an apparent case of pinkeye, so I figured I might as well stop by Bath & Body works to reup my stock of anti-bacterial hand soaps....IF I am feeling up to it, that is!

***AND*** I have coughed and sneezed several, several times, and have yet to pee on yself when I do so!!! Yay!
