5 Days Post-Op and Doing Well

Hi sisters! Thank you all for your well-wishes. My TAH was March 18th, and I went home on the 21st. My GYN ran into a lot of scar tissue, which was anticipated. My bowels and uterus were kind of all matted together. I also had a vaginal septum that extended completely through my uterus that was repaired. I've been very swollen and gassy, but all that is getting better. Walking, plenty of fluids, and appropriate rest is extremely helpful. The pain has been hard to deal with at times, but it has been so much better today.

Just wanted to share and let you know that all is well. I go back on the 26th to get the staples removed from my incision.
