Pre-op yesterday

Hi Everyone!
Had my pre-op appt yesterday. Went to Dr's office signed all paperwork, then headed to the hospital for blood work, chest x-ray, and EKG. Everyone was so friendly at the hospital, from the girl that registered me to the pre-op nurse, EKG tech was soo funny, and the x-ray tech was very sweet. I'm not as nervous as I have been. I have to go back on Monday (surgery is Tuesday) for a urine preg (LOL, I have my tubes tied, had ablation in may, and to top it off I haven't had sex in what seems like a million years and they want a preg test... okay, whatever they want.) and my Type and cross match. I also, went to work today and decieded it was just added stress, so I talked to my boss and took half a day today, and the next 3 days off. I'm working on Sunday (retail, furniture). Monday I have last minute labs and bowel prep and then tuesday morning, the wait is over. YEAAAA!

I had my pre op today. Having a LSH on July 17th. I was so surprised to hear her tell me that i will be home on Wednesday. I feel a little better after talking to the doc. I just want to get it over with. It is the waiting and the thinking that makes me crazy So good luck with yours!.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm a little nuts too, but it wil all be good in the end.
