pain management

I have been reading all the posts on women taking motrin and vicodin for the pain after this major surgery! Boy i must be like the biggest baby in the world.I have endo.(severely) and adenomyosis.i hurt all the time, for the last year the only thing that helps the pain is percocet.so that is how i have managed my pain for the last year until i could get the diagnoses of endo. for sure through a diagnostic lap.(thats military it takes time and persistance to get things done).I now am being put in right away for a full hysterectomy, they said it is pretty bad. I asked my doctor about pain management after the surgery and she said i will have something significantly stronger than percocet. I am so thankful i have had such good doctors to help me cope with the pain all this time.I just wondered what other people are taking for the pain and am i crazy but i seem to be the only taking such strong pain pills? let me know what you guys think.
