Question about weight changes

I haven't had much of an appetite since my surgery. I was still concerned about gaining weight though since i haven't been walking or exercising. I was so happy when I weighed myself this morning. I didn't lose any weight, but didn't gain any either. I can't wait to start walking. I may start off with a short walk next week.

Great to hear!!! Walking is good for your recovery too!!! I was told to walk as much as I could tolerate...not speed walking of course , but taking frequent strolls either around the yard, or even around the block!!

I should probably get back into walking if I want to keep my weight where it is...I didn't really need to lose any, but now that I have, I'm super happy about it! I feel better about myself, so I need to just maintain it now!

I still do not have an appetite and I am almost 4 months post-op...I think it has a lot to do with the Wellbutrin that I am taking. Either that, or it is the lack of periods that used to make me gorge myself on chocolate for 16 days out of every month.

Either way, hope you are able to start your walking again soon. Just make sure you don't over do it!!!
