Travel??

I had my surgery on the Monday before Thanksgiving 4 yrs ago.

My in-laws live 10 minutes from my house so I felt good enough to try it. We have a gravel drivewy and most of it is a hill. That was massively uncomfortable even with my tummy pillow between me and the seatbelt.

I stayed maybe 1.5 hours and was exhausted. I took me the weekend to recover. So a 3 hour drive with the festivities, I would say based on my experience not do'able.

Also god forbid you have a car accident of any kind on the way. You could be putting yourself in great jeopardy. I just don't think it is worth risking it. I would say to aim for Christmas to spend time with family.
