TLH: Adenomyosis & Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

I am 29 years old and have been diagnosed with severe pelvic congestion syndrome and adenomyosis. My surgery is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, January 8th. Is there any other women out there with a similar situation and/or diagnosis?

I do not have experience with this, but we do have many women on this site how have reported a similar diagnosis.

Thank you for being the first responder. I do hope someone else is out there. I am starting to feel very discouraged.

I am also 29 and diagnosed with Adenomyosis/endometriosis. No PCS, but you are welcome to reply/message me if you want:-) its kind of nice to did someone else my age that is facing this!

I had the hys due to adenomyosis. I had a lap surgery/ ablation/ d and c/ hysterscopy - none of which helped the horrible pain I was in. Hopefully the hys will help- but I am at 3 weeks post op so not yet done with the recovery. You can ask me any adeno related questions but I don't have experience with the other condition. Good luck with the surgery !!

I had adenomyosis but, not PCS. The hysterectomy did remove the pain I was in every month.

I had surgery on 12/26, after diagnosis of adeno. Age 35. No knowledge of the PC, though. Sorry!

I will share that I bled for more days this past year than not, and (it sounds crazy, but) I am so happy every time I go to the bathroom now and don't have to bother with pads!
