3 weeks post hysterectomy - pain and bleeding

my surgery date was 23rd sept , so about 3 weeks ago, I had a vaginal hysterectomy & prolapse repair & during surgery lost quite a bit of blood & had a rough time recovering spending a whole week in hospital being sick & not keeping down food developing an infection & with low blood pressure & being on oxygen , since coming home I've been resting & felt pretty good for the first week now I'm back to having pain & darker pink bleeding again , I'm wondering if this is normal or should I expect this after a difficult recovery? I see my gyno next week for a check up but wondering if I should ask to visit sooner??
