Hey 8 weekers

Just an update...

I am feeling good. I still get hot flashes and night sweats even though I am on HRT....well at least it is better than pain !!

Stll have this numbing feeling in the abdomen. My doc did say he cant promise that it will go away. It depeneds on the person. He has had some patients that had the numbeness go away after a few weeks, and some that still has had it after 5 years. I guess it just depeneds on the person.

I still get fatigued. I felt so out of it yesturday. I guess that ios all part of it.

My GP had me go back to see my Endocrinologist They belive that I was PCOS as well as eveything else. They put me back on Metformin. My sugar level on a fast was 102. I didn;t think it was bad, but I am not a doc. I originaly only took the Metformin for about a month..I was just getting so depressed that I stopped taking it because the pain just would not stop. I felt nothing was working.

Another strange thing...a few months before my TAH including ovaries, but kept cervix my Cholesteral was 254 !! I did not change my diet and was not put on meds...after the hyst it went down to 222 !! I thought that was weird..could my ovaries have anything to do with that?? Does that also have anything with PCOS ??

Hope everyone is well !!!
Love all the sisters

Hey 8 weekers

Hi,

Your cholestral could very well have been affected by being POCS. It seems to affect the body in many ways.

Here is some info on it:

I hope you continue to heal and feel better every day.
