Dumb (totally unimportant) Question...

Can I wear make-up to the castle for my surgery or is that big NO? I've read many times about nail polish but not about make-up. I have my pre-op tomorrow so I'm sure I'll find out but just curious what the rest of you have been told.

Re: Dumb (totally unimportant) Question...

No makeup, nailpolish, perfume, deodrant, piercings, jewellery with the exception of wedding rings. They put tape over those & the studs in my ears....everywhere is different.

Re: Dumb (totally unimportant) Question...

I was told no make up, nail polish, no deodorant, no hand cream, no lip balm, no jewellery - basically just your beautiful natural self.

Re: Dumb (totally unimportant) Question...

I was also told NO makeup of any kind... and I can't imagine even considering wearing it for surgery anyway. I just wanted that clean, freshly scrubbed look.

Re: Dumb (totally unimportant) Question...

Every surgery I have ever had has the same rules: don't wear any cosmetics, jewelry, polish, perfume, etc. Nothing. I once had a nurse joking tell me "we want ya the way yer mama got ya, nothin added."
