38 and have prolapse

I don't have a date yet, but have to have a partial Hysterectomy (vag). my family vacation is in 2 weeks, Will I be ok walking around Universal Studios/Disney? I do have pelvic and back pain, but I don't want to dissapoint my kids. Also, after having the surgery will I have a normal life, I like to work out but I don't want to worry about another prolapse. Will life ever be the same. I feel like I'm too young to worry about these things!

Re: 38 and have prolapse

I am 37 and had prolapse. IF you going on vacation before don't worry about anything. IF your going on vacation after surgery..advise you not to go till after your done with 6 weeks of healing..that's too much walking.

Don't worry about the kids..your health is more important and they need u to be well.

Life will be back to normal..looks like it to me and I am 3 weeks out.
