Re: Best Wishes to our July 12 Princesses

Hello Sisters!!

Not long ago, I remember seeing my Well Wishes thread and thinking...WOW! It's really happening! I was experiencing every emotion at the same time...slowing down for a few minutes and taking a couple of deep breaths really helped.

Ladies, You CAN and WILL get through this!

I have the honor of meeting you on the other side as your Sunshine Sister.
Your Recovery Thread is for surgery dates July 9th-15th and will be located at the top of the Post-Op Forum.

Best of luck. I hope and pray that you will have a smooth surgery.

Re: Best Wishes to our July 12 Princesses

Thanks everyone! I am doing all laundry today and trying to clean up the house. Along with packing up myself and my two boys. That way I can have tomorrow to relax and maybe a pedi and mani!

Re: Best Wishes to our July 12 Princesses

I've been running errands and cleaning the house. I have a phone check-in with the hospital tomorrow, and will be in the hospital somewhere around 5:30am on Thursday. Eating light. Have DVDs sorted out, put a table beside my side of the bed and am just trying to be proactive before this surgery. A few years ago during my last round of cyst surgery, I had some complications because I did too much too soon. This time, I'm going to rest.

In late May and early June, I went through a few weeks of very little pain. Since about June 10, I've had increasing pelvic and back pain and just feel blah. That means, while I'm a little nervous, I know a hysterectomy is the right thing to do.
