Groin pain

I am almost 7 weeks post op. I have been feeling great but the past two days I have had pain in my groin on the left side. It's fine when I rest but when I get up to move around it is extremely painful. Wondering if this is related to my hysterectomy. Anyone else experience this pain? If so, anything help.

Re: Groin pain

I am 2 weeks post op TAH. I have noticed this, too, particularly when I get out of bed. It feels like a muscle or ligament is tearing. Mine is a sharp, burning pain that comes and goes quickly. I also have very tender/sore skin across my abdomen, about 2 inches above my incision. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm calling my surgeon tomorrow as my follow up isn't until Feb 10.

Re: Groin pain

I also have pain in my lower left groin and it's been constant since my surgery, I'm three weeks post op. The pain has improved drastically over the past few weeks and sometimes it'll go away but it feels like I pulled something or if I move a certain way it feels like I'm over extending or pulling a muscle. I had laparoscopic surgery and my largest incision was right above where I'm having the pain so i think that might be why I'm having the discomfort since they cut through the muscle. I'd definitely call your doctor if you're concerned, it's their job to answer questions and you'll feel a lot better hearing what they have to say xXXx hugs xXXx
